The use of cellular phones, pagers or electronic signaling devices by students on campus is prohibited during normal school hours. If a student brings such a device to school, it must remain "off" and be stored in a locker, backpack, purse, pocket, or other place where it is not visible during school hours; if such a device is observed or heard by school staff, it may be confiscated until redeemed by a parent or guardian. Photographing, videotaping or otherwise recording individuals without their permission is strictly prohibited. If a cellular phone, pager or electronic signaling device rings or is visible during testing, the device will be confiscated and the student removed from the test situation. Exceptions to this policy may be granted by the site administrator for purposes relating to the health needs of a student.
