Transportation Careers Academy

Fine Arts are Art, Drama, Music, Designated Dance Courses (11th grade Modern Dance, Dance Production and Folklorico)
Technical Arts are Agriculture, Business, Computer Science, Industrial Education, and Health Careers [ROP].

All classes are co-educational.

Most academic courses are given at the remedial, average, honors, and Advanced Placement level to meet the individual needs of all students. Students in the Gifted/Talented program and those planning to attend a four year college are encouraged to choose honors and AP courses in consultation with their counselor.

AB Courses with AB in their title are annual courses designed to be taken for an entire year
AP Courses with AP in their title are designed to prepare students for the Advanced Placement Examination, which, if passed at an acceptable level will allow the student to receive college credit in this subject field. The University of Calif. & The Calif. State Universities and Colleges award one extra grade point for Honors and AP courses taken in 11th & 12th grades and strongly recommend such courses from 9th grade on.
